Our continuing improvement programs to the production of quality have been recognized again. The 2011 edition of “PianoBuyer.com” has evaluated our new Ritmüller and Pearl River pianos and elevated their status in their “Map of the Market for New Pianos.” Ritmüller has now been included in their “Upper Level” of “Consumer Grade Pianos” and Pearl River now ranks in the “Mid-Range” category. Our Pearl River UP-108D3s were singled out for special recognition with comments that included, “I was truly impressed with the Pearl River’s action: nicely uniform across the entire keyboard, and capable of faster repetition than the other pianos I tested, providing good dynamic control.” The review was written by Dr. Owen Lovell, a professional pianist from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Wei-Wei Wang showcases her talents on a beautiful Pearl River. We are delighted to find that the highly accomplished Taiwanese pianist Wei-Wei Wang has recently posted a video on YouTube of a recent performance at the keyboard of a Pearl River EU122 piano. Wei-Wei is a renowned classical and contemporary soloist who has performed throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. Ms. Wang was affiliated with the Chinese Culture University where she won the concerto competition as the youngest competitor and made her orchestra debut with CCU symphony orchestra at the Novel Hall for performing arts in Taipei, Taiwan. Pearl River Success Reflected in Name Change. Pearl River Piano Group America has become American PR Musical Instruments, Inc. The name change reflects an initiative from the Ontario, California based management to expand the North American product line to include a wide variety of musical instruments in addition to Pearl River and Ritmüller pianos.

President and CEO, Evelyn Luo stresses that, “There will be no change in operations. Our company offices, phone numbers and personnel will remain the same. We believe the new name will better reflect our purpose and commitment to the full range of musical products we produce and distribute.”

Recently introduced piano models have earned outstanding reviews from American critics and musicians alike.
